Shin Megami Tensei V, one of ATLUS’ many critically acclaimed JRPGs, which achieved an impressive Metacritic score of 84, was just announced to be receiving a definitive edition in the form of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. SMTV: Vengeance encourages players, new and old, to venture into the game’s incredible story which has been revised and expanded to feature a bunch of new content, meaning there is something for everyone.
The best part about this announcement is that it marks the JRPG’s departure from being a Nintendo Switch exclusive. While the original release is still stuck on Nintendo’s hybrid platform, this definitive version will see a release not only for the Nintendo Switch but also for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
