Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree Trailer Shows Off New Areas, Weapons Arts, And More; Release Date Included

Overnight, a trailer for the highly anticipated Elden Ring expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, was released and it is safe to say that FromSoftware has been cooking up something massive. The trailer shows off many of the features and additions that will come as a part of the expansion. We got a look at a few of the areas that FromSoftware has made, some of the new weapons, and even some weapon arts. What is perhaps most notable of all though is the fact that this DLC is shown to be centred around Miquella, the only shardbearer whom players didn’t fight in the base game.

If you were hoping for an imminent release, you’ll have to taper your expectations just a little bit. The trailer revealed that the expansion will launch on June 21, 2024, with a price tag of A$59.95 (US$39.95). Pre-orders are available via the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store (A$54.95), and Steam.
