New Rumour Suggests Ghost Of Tsushima PC Port Will Be Announced Soon

Sony has done a pretty good job at bringing its portfolio of exclusives to PC. The release of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition marked the beginning of a concerted effort from PlayStation to adopt the platform and, to the detriment of a frustratingly vocal minority, there have been numerous PC ports of PlayStation exclusives including God of War, The Last of Us Part I, and Returnal. Not all of these ports were great on launch, but one thing was clear, PlayStation didn’t really see the PC platform as a competitor and rather adopted it as another avenue to grow in the market.

One non-Bloodborne exclusive that people have been surprised to hear nothing about a PC port for is Ghost of Tsushima, an open-world action-adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Productions whose previous works include the Infamous and Sly Cooper series.

The rumour was spread by XboxEra co-founder, Nick Baker, on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account. He also has a history of leaking details regarding the previous State of Play. He suggests that the port should be shown off, or at least announced, on March 5.

Currently, there are two versions of Ghost of Tsushima. The original version of the game released on July 17, 2020 exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The game was given a multiplayer mode in a free update three months later in the form of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. There was additionally an expansion titled Iki Island and a new version of the game, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, which doubled as a complete edition of the game for the PS4  as well as being sold as a PlayStation 5 version.
