Ghost Of Tsushima Director’s Cut Is Making Its Way To PC

Earlier this week it was reported that rumours were circulating around a PC port of Suckler Punch Productions’ Ghost of Tsushima. Those rumours suggested that the PC port would be announced this week, and they were absolutely right. Announced this morning via a PlayStation Blog Post, Nixxes Software and Sucker Punch Productions are working together to bring the 2020 action-adventure game to the PC platform in the form of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut.

The blog post details various features that will be a part of the PC port including unlocked frame rates, flexible graphics settings, and support for customisable keyboard and mouse controls. Additionally, Nixxes are boasting support for alternate resolutions and aspect ratios, with ultrawide receiving a lot of love and the aspect ratios of 21:9, 32:9, and even 48:9 for the few people that run triple monitor setups for gaming.

To sweeten the pot, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut includes the Legends multiplayer mode that was added a few months after the game’s initial release on PS4, and the Iki Island expansion which released on August 20, 2021. Pre-orders of the PC port will also include early unlocks of the Broken Armour Dye, Traveler’s Attire, and New Game+ Horse.

This PC port comes as yet another one of the leaked PC ports from the infamous NVIDIA GeForce Now leak, which also was accurate when it came to the PC releases of God of War, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Returnal, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, HELLDIVERS 2, and Horizon Forbidden West. The only two games that have yet to make their appearance on PC are Gran Turismo 7 and Demon’s Souls, the latter of which was accidentally announced to come to PS5 and PC at first but the PC announcement was rescinded as a mistake.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will be launching on PC on May 16, 2024, with pre-orders available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
