New Warfarer Vocation In Dragon’s Dogma 2 Is A Jack Of All Trades

Dragon’s Dogma 2, the hotly anticipated sequel to Capcom’s 2012 RPG (2013 if you count from the release of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen onwards), is a little under a month away but the cool features keep coming. There has been a steady stream of information regarding the game’s various classes known as “vocations”, and the latest looks just as awesome as the others.

The newly revealed Warfarer is an Arisen-exclusive vocation that can dip into the skillsets of all other vocations, harnessing the strength of melee classes, the agility of ranged classes and the flashy combat stylings of sorcerers. To balance things out, the base stats of the class are notably lower, but skilled players will be able to utilise cross-vocation combos and weapon swaps to maximise their damage output.

The Warfarer vocation is the tenth vocation to be revealed for the game, with the other vocations listed below:

  • Fighter
  • Archer
  • Thief
  • Mage
  • Warrior
  • Sorcerer
  • Magick Archer
  • Mystic Spearhand
  • Trickster

More information about each vocation can be found here.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is set to release on March 22, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
